Audio-video equipment safety laboratory

This laboratory, granted with the ISO 17025 accreditation certificate by the National Accreditation Center of Iran, performs safety tests on audio-video devices, based on national standard 4582 and international standard IEC 60065.

These safety tests include:

• Electric shock (electric strength tests, touch currents, insulation resistance, protective earth resistance…);

• Energy related hazard;

• Fire;

• Heat related hazard;

• Mechanical hazards;

• Radiation;

• Chemical hazards.

  Examples of equipment currently being tested are:

• Television sets, video monitors and video projectors;

• Audio recorder/ player units;

• video recorder/ player units;

• TV cameras, digital cameras and video recording cameras
